TopicHarnessing the Power: Women as Communicators

This afternoon presentation & discussion provides an opportunity to reflect on our ability to use the power of words to create stronger families and communities.

About the Speaker: Dr. Rosalie Mirenda is President of Neumann University, where she has forged a reputation as a tireless advocate and savvy visionary.  She serves on the board of the World Meeting of Families 2015 and served as Chair of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary’s Task Force on College.  She was appointed to the ExCorde Ecclesiae Working Group for the Committee on Catholic Education, U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, and is a member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities.  Dr. Mirenda has been recognized by a number of organizations for her character and accomplishments—including Malvern Retreat House, which honored her with the St. Joseph the Worker Award.  Dr. Mirenda and her husband, Tony, have three adult children and five grandchildren.
