Malvern Retreat House is looking for two full-time housekeepers. Applicants must be hardworking, trustworthy, particular, loyal, flexible, caring and energetic. Available Position: Director of Fiscal Affairs (FT flexible hours as needed to meet the Malvern mission.)

The Director of Fiscal Affairs will operate as a hands-on manager overseeing all aspects of the day-to-day business operations of Malvern Retreat House. He/she will report directly to the President.  This position requires excellent organizational and communication skills, the ability to maintain confidentiality, advanced computer literacy, a high degree of professionalism, and a strong work ethic.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Review Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable to include all journal entries; Review daily cash receipts and necessary bank activities; Monthly general ledger and bank account reconciliation; Preparation of monthly financial reports and forecasting; Preparation of annual operations and capital budgets; Management of purchasing and contract agreements; Supervision of various business personnel; Preparation of any and all tax related paperwork; Preparation of monthly billing and collections analyses; Human Resource management including payroll, hiring and explanation of any benefits or pensions, posting of leave time; Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.  The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.  Also essential to this position are: Mental discipline which includes completing multiple concurrent tasks, managing interruptions, situational problem solving; Strong verbal communication skills; Sitting for long periods, standing, speaking, hearing, and writing; Ability to use standard office and computer equipment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  The Director of Fiscal Affairs needs to have: At least five (5) years experience as an Accountant or Controller, CPA preferred; Significant bookkeeping experience in a Not-for-Profit setting preferred; Experience with automated accounting systems; Proficiency in Microsoft Office software; Familiarity with Not-for-Profit special accounting requirements.

Available Position: Administrative Assistant II

This is a full-time position, reporting to the Assistant Director of Hospitality. This person will answer telephone calls, provide secretarial support, assist with data entry, maintain the copier ink, learn the mailing machine and complete all mailings and work on special projects. Available Position: Hospitality Coordinator (PT)

This part time position may include daytime and nighttime hours. Flexible scheduling is available as necessary. The primary responsibility of the hospitality coordinator is to provide direct support for all liturgical activities, maintain chapels and oratories and all liturgical linens, and serve as the Malvern host for the assigned groups.
