Gifts to Honor & Memorialize
Continue The Legacy Of A Loved One
If you would like to remember a loved one, a memorial gift to Malvern is a wonderful way to do so. Memorials gifts are unique and range from room renovations, to art items, to contributions to the Malvern Memorial Fund. Even Living Memorial Gifts are accepted to further the McShain-Horstmann Family Life Center.
Naming Opportunities
At Malvern Retreat House we provide many opportunities to honor and memorialize a beloved family member. From a Tree of Life leaf to a Founders Walk Brick to a room dedication or the naming of a Station of the Cross, you can find the perfect opportunity to honor your loved one and continue his/her legacy here at Malvern.
For more information and a complete list and brochure of our available naming opportunities, call Martha Quintana at 484.321.2544 or email mquintana@malvernretreat.com.
Tree of Life
There are two Tree of Life sculptures: the original is in the McShain Atrium adjacent to the Mary and John McShain Conference Center, and the other is in the McShain-Horstmann Family Life Center. Made of cast bronze and acrylic, each leaf and boulder at the bottom of the tree may be engraved with the name of a loved one, a friend or retreatant, or anyone you wish to honor. Simply complete a Tree of Life Request Form and mail with a check or credit card for $250 to the Malvern Development Office.
For a Tree of Life Request Form, contact Martha Quintana at 484-321-2544 or mquintana@malvernretreat.com.
In Lieu Of Flowers
Many members of our Malvern Family have asked that, in honor of their passing, friends and family make contributions to the Malvern Retreat House instead of sending flowers. We also provide logos for newspaper and Funeral Directors’ use.
For details, call Martha Quintana at 484.321.2544 or email mquintana@malvernretreat.com.
If you or a loved one had a transformative retreat at Malvern, Pay It Forward to give another retreatant the experience of a lifetime.
