Retreat Director
Fr. Mike Davis
Father Mike was ordained on May 16, 1987 by Bishop John J. Graham, and has served as a parish priest for all but 5 years as he had served on the Faculty of Bishop Kenrick High School, Norristown, and St. Maria Goretti High School, Philadelphia from 1990-1995. In parish ministry, he has served as a Parochial Vicar, as a Parochial Administrator, and as a Pastor in several parishes, most recently he was the Pastor of Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish in Feasterville. Father Mike loves the Blessed Virgin Mary, truly appreciates her spiritual motherhood, and firmly supports the challenging work of the Legionaries of Mary as her instruments to invite and encourage persons to connect to Jesus through His Mother. Father Mike is the Spiritual Director of the Our Lady of the Assumption Praesidium in his parish, and is the Spiritual Director of the Bucks County Curia of the Legion of Mary. Currently Fr. Mike is assigned as the Rector of Malvern Retreat House

George and Kathy Palilonis
George and Kathy, a fun and loving couple, have been parishioners at Assumption BVM for 35 years. As members of the Knights of Columbus (George) and the Legion of Mary (Kathy), they have aspired to strengthen their Catholic values. Faith in God and strong family bonds have shaped their entire way of life.
They both grew up in N.E. Philadelphia and attended Catholic school. As High School sweethearts, they married in 1970. God has blessed them with two children, five grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren (#5 is due to arrive in September).
In 2020 they marked the beginning of a new journey, as they both retired from their jobs. George worked as a machine operator for a printing company and Kathy worked as a Registered Nurse. In retirement they have been enjoying spending time with their family, babysitting and helping where needed. As for “Together Time”, trips to the beach, listening to music and traveling in their RV is what keeps them smiling.
Like many other couples, they have experienced challenging times, as well as joyful celebrations over the years. What keeps them grounded? It is their belief that families are built on the virtues of Faith, Hope and Love.
